Biography Nigel Bentley is managing director of Rathbone Trust Company (Jersey) Ltd having been appointed in February 2004. Nigel was admitted as a solicitor in 1980, spending his early career practising commercial conveyancing in the City of London. In 1986 he was made a partner in Galsworthy & Stones, English solicitors, and he became a director of Rathbone Trust Company Jersey Limited in August 2002. Nigel is an active member of a number of steering committees involved in the continuing development of the regulatory framework of the Jersey finance industry. He also sits on the committee of the Association of English Solicitors Practising in Jersey and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Jersey Taxation Society and the Jersey Compliance Officers’ Association. |
