Biography Louise Walker LLB, joined Rathbone Trust Company (Jersey) Limited in September 1997 and qualified as an English solicitor in May 1999. Louise specialises in the taxation of the UK and US resident beneficiaries of offshore trusts. Her portfolio includes a number of very high net worth family trusts with broadly diversified investment portfolios together with family trusts invested in UK real estate where her knowledge of UK land law is an advantage. She has developed expertise in selecting suitable investment managers and monitoring their performance, and in devising investment policy guidelines governing both fiscal considerations and investment objectives. Louise also acts for a large UK-based computer and internet service provider group and therefore has experience of those industries. |
