Companies within Rathbone Trust International have been establishing and managing trust structures for over 40 years, with particular expertise in the administration of more sophisticated arrangements. These structures are frequently subject to complex fiscal and regulatory requirements. It is important therefore to be able to provide appropriate skills and professional expertise, both at the planning and administrative levels.

It is for this reason that the company maintains a high level of professional expertise amongst existing personnel and has recruited additional lawyers recognised for their experience in this field.

We prepare trust documentation tailored to the individual requirements of each client. Particular consideration will be given to tax and estate planning issues, liaising with a client's existing advisers as appropriate.

We provide a full trust administration service including arranging trustee meetings, maintenance of records and provision of accounts. With the legal expertise at our disposal, we can also provide independent advice on trust related matters and are retained by a number of trust companies to advise on complex issues that they face.

Our in-house trust companies are available to act as trustee. We also operate a number of managed trust companies for professional intermediaries, working closely with them to provide a value-added service to them and their clients, as well as providing management and administration of private trust companies for particularly high net worth clients.
